My parents have been involved in Shire Sharing for a while, and last year I had a chance to get involved too. I helped my mom collect coats and sort them for a coat drive.
While I only did a small part, overall it was a big job. With everyone working together, we were able to donate many coats to those in need. It meant a lot to me knowing that something as seemingly small as a coat would mean a great deal to someone else, especially in New England where the fall and winter are harsher than in other places.
I encourage anyone to get involved even if you only take on a small part. The more hearts we have involved and ready to give, the bigger an impact we can all make together.
